How to
get to Square One Books
Jefferson Square is
located one block East of California Avenue SW and one block
South of SW Alaska Street in West Seattle's Alaska
Junction. We are midway between Bartell's and Safeway in
Jefferson Square.
Approaching from the
West Seattle freeway and Fauntleroy Way SW, turn West on SW
Alaska street and then South on 42nd Avenue SW.
From California Avenue
SW, turn East on SW Edmunds street and North on 42nd Avenue
SW.

Services
Special Orders
We are happy to do special orders for
you. If it is a book that is stocked at one of our local or
regional distributors it's only one to three days away at no
extra charge. Books that must be ordered from the publisher
usually take three or four weeks and often entail a small
shipping charge. We can check our distributors stock status
of a book in seconds.
Booklovers Card
Just ask for our Booklovers Card. The value of your
purchases will be recorded and the average of every twelve
purchases will be deducted from the next purchase. All
store merchandise is eligible with very few exceptions. Its
a great way to reduce your cost of reading.
Book Clubs
Register your book club with us, let us know what
selections you'll be reading and we'll extend a 10% discount
on those purchases.
We would also like to welcome you to join our
Square One Book Club
Gift Certificates
We offer both Square One and BookSense gift
certificates to help with your gift giving.
Our Square One Gift certificates are redeemable here at the
store and available in any amount. There are no time limits
on redemption and the certificates may be used for multiple
purchases until their value is reached.
BookSense gift certificates are redeemable at
participating BookSense independent bookstores
nationally and are valid for a two year period.
Reading Accessories
You will find a quality selection of Journals, Cards,
Bookmarks, reading glasses and more at Square One.
School and Institutional Sales
We offer discounts to Schools. Bring in your book
list and we'll quickly put the order together.
